Unexpected Business Interruptions
It was never determined what caused this outside light to arch, setting this wooden store front on fire. It was determined the wooden wall smolder for some time prior to the fire gaining access to the inside of the building. The smoldering allowed the smoke to travel throughout the building causing major smoke damages. When the fire department arrived, this entire window opening was on fire with a portion of the roof as well. We understand no business owner wants to have business interruptions as no home owner wants to be displaced. We will do what we need to make it “Like it never even happened.” This fire happened on a Thursday morning of a busy holiday weekend, the building had to be open Saturday morning, as they are only open Saturday and Sunday. Working around the clock, drying the wet areas, wiping down the smoke soot areas down to free the areas of contaminates along with a make shift wall we did make it happen. His weekend business opened on time Saturday morning and stayed opened until end of business day on Sunday. We were able to return Sunday evening and continue the work required. Once all cleaning and dry out was complete, the building owner took advantage of our rebuild services. He had us take out the window, install a door garage style door and also enclose the outside light.
