Don't Just Replace, Restore!
Not all wet carpets require removal for disposal. When carpet is effected by a clean water source the carpet normally can be saved if mitigation is provided in a timely manner. When the Mitigation Team arrives to perform the emergency mitigation service; they will access the wet areas, remove the contents within the compromised area and then extract any remaining water. Once extraction is complete, the crew will treat the top of the carpet and pull the carpet back from the wall, the wet padding underneath will be removed and disposed and the sub floor will be treated. Drying equipment will then be placed which normally runs for a minimum of 3 days. The team will visit your home within this 3 day period to assess the drying and record the moisture levels. Once dry the equipment will be removed, new padding will be put back in place, the carpet will be reinstalled and then cleaned. Making it "Like it never even happened."
