Cooking with Fire!
When cooking with grease turns into a grease fire. This homeowner knew just what to do in the case of a grease fire. Do not throw water on the fire, smother it with baking soda and or flour. This allowed for no water damages and also minimized the damages which was contained to this area of the kitchen. Our teams removed stove to include the range hood, demoed the upper cabinets and remove the counter tops. Once the demo and removal of the items were complete we cleaned the soot and prepped the walls for painting. We replace the stove, the counter tops and upper cabinets. The client requested a specialty range hood she wanted a higher powered fan and exhaust. Little did we know it was her husbanding who was cooking and she told us it was exhausting watching him cook. Which was reasoning for the special order hood which was scheduled to be installed after this photo was taken.
